Braddock Debate

Each year it seems that the Novices face trial by fire at the Flying L Competition.  It is usually their first competition ever, and for this group it was no different.  What was different was the 30 + Goody Bags.  Hoping to provide breakfast and perhaps confidence, each competitor got their own personalized bag.  In the case of the  Varsity kids the common phrase heard that morning was "We didnt get these last year."  We waited and waited for some to show up. Natalie and Raquel both need to learn how to tell time.  At last we were off.  After a long ride to Ft. Lauderdale we arrived to controlled chaos and a sea of suits.  Phrases like "Flight A", "Flight B", "School Codes", and "Congress Chambers" were quickly learned.  At the end of the day some collected awards, but all completed an amazing task...surviving the first competition of the year.  You all made me proud :)
